Working with a Las Vegas start-up, I led the turn-key development of an innovative new booklight for the consumer market. In a market flush with a hundred different varieties, the client wanted to have the best of all worlds in an inexpensive package. Benchmarking the products in existence was one of the most important steps of this design process, setting expectations on both materials and appearance.

The selected design was prototyped in FDM and proved the concept's viability. The final design was patentable and was manufactured with the help of overseas suppliers. This booklight can now be found in various retail outlets.
