IPC, a market leading provider of information systems to the financial services sector, was under pressure to revolutionize their aging flagship product. The users inability to easily digest the 'turrets' capabilities meant that most units in the field were under-utilized. By visiting numerous trading houses, the floor of the NYSE, and talking with the users themselves the solutions to many of the problems presented themselves.

Changing the product achitecture allowed us to offer many configurations to the end user while also increasing the information density. The thin profile and curved shape of the product ensures that it easily integrates into the trading environment. Many of the units shared parts which cut down on design time. By using the same LCD, costs were lowered and the assembly was simplified.

The client was so happy with the results that they followed this product up with another.
