Although shortlived, Scout's Modo was designed to appeal to active urban dwellers in the 20-35 demographic. Working off the established pager network, Modo provided daily updates on topics such as movie times, bar locations, restaurant hours, and concert dates. Using an unconventional design, materials, and a streamlined package made for a very appealing and touchable product.

Involved from the start of this project, I able to provide valuable brainstorming and sketching insights in the early stages of development. I followed that work up with production part design for a number of parts and the complete development of the UART cable. Prototype tooling provided an invaluable resource in the development of the Modo and the accompanying cable.
